I am developing a video web marketing company from a pure video production company. We are developing some great relationships. But more importantly we are creating a community. Social Networking is becoming Social business. I like this!!!

Re: http://gary.tumblr.com/post/78884958

is the next rule.. to know when to cut your losses with certain associations that are trying to bleed you dry in the 80/20 rule? //g

Re: http://gary.tumblr.com/post/78884958

your twitter post brought me here Gary. It is not about adding 80 + 20 = 100. Why? Because the 20% is on one ledger, the 80% is on another.

For example, if I look at five things I have to do today, only one of those will be vital. If I concentrate on that one thing, I get back 4x from all the other four activities combined.

Now, the rest of what you had to say I agree with completely, and I am working hard to make it all work in my life and business.

(Incidentally, that's the most important part, but everyone who knows me knows I'm a pain in the *ss.) :)

Re: http://gary.tumblr.com/post/78884958

I love the 80/20 rule. You are so on target with it. It is amazing how it's the little things that make the biggest difference. This years resolution was to spend more time with the family. I'm encouraged to keep the momentum going, at least "until I bleed out of my face..."

Re: http://gary.tumblr.com/post/78884958

Word. A rising tide lifts all boats. In business, you can't worry about today, you gotta worry about 10 years down the road, and people will FLOCK to work with givers and straight shooters. I'm adopting your 80/20 rule on the new "glide" slope. Chat later. Keep up the good work, @GaryVee!

Genuine words.
