There is no easy quick fixes in this world. You have to get after it and scrape for every last penny or VIEWER in this case. But if you have GREAT content, the viewership will build on itself as well. As usual great post.

Re: Gary Vaynerchuk - In the Trenches Bitches

Everyone wants a shortcut, and the irony is that they spend so much effort trying to find the trick that they could've just built the damn business they want in the meantime. It's exactly what my post here is about ; http://www.myonehundredthin...

Re: Gary Vaynerchuk - In the Trenches Bitches

"How to build a Fortune 500 company in just 10 minutes!" As a result, they tend to have the quality and insight of something scratched into the wall of a public restroom. I like that Gary does not sugarcoat things. If he wrote a business book, it would probably be called something like "The Long, Painful Road to Success". The title alone would scare most people off. But it would be worth reading.

Re: Gary Vaynerchuk - In the Trenches Bitches

His response, a one liner.. get in the blogs.. At first I was like, damn, see he is big time now and doesn't have time to answer emails anymore.. Then, a few seconds later, it all made sense.. So.. while I have NO CLUE what I am going to do, I at least know, its time to jump in the waters and swim with the fishes baby... coming soon to a nursing world near you!!

Re: Gary Vaynerchuk - In the Trenches Bitches

I love how straight forward you are and most of the advice you have to give is very useful. Some of the videos I found on Bukisa got me energized and moving my projects forward in a different direction. I'm going to be checking back here often. Thanks for everything (even if you didn't directly try). Btw, I live in the Dirty Jerz...lol Love ya man! :-)

Jen

Re: Gary Vaynerchuk - In the Trenches Bitches

It's definitely helpful when someone who is "trusted" Tweets you or links you up on their blog, but you have to be able to back it up. Pumping out content is definitely the way to go.

I've had people visit my sites just because they've read my comments on other people's blogs and sites.

I'm actually getting ready to start a blog and web show (as soon as I finish a couple other projects), so if you have any other tips I'd love to hear them!

Re: Gary Vaynerchuk - In the Trenches Bitches
