I really like the Vook format, but I wish that you didn't have to choose web or iPhone. Instead of having to pay $7 for each there should at least be a combination price, for example $10 to have both options. That being said I went for the web version of Crush It.

Ok, I did end up buying it because it was only $7. It has a bookmark feature but no highlighting. I would say the sight is good accept my browser said the site was not secure and people could see the information, even on the credit card page. Hope nobody steals my cc numbers.

I quite like reading books on my iphone, and I'm not sure exactly what sort of different multimedia piece the Vbook brings into the equation, but it's a good move to take.

Personally I'm just worried that you pay $12 for a single application, and then I really can't do much with it. That's a problem with these different distribution channels more than one guy's decision, but so far I've limited my iphone reading to using something like the iphone Kindle app that we have in Canada, an app called "short covers".

That vook.com website though, even to look at the preview of the book was really really hard. I don't think it'll help people move towards buying the iphone vbook. Sorry to be a bit of a downer when it comes to this, but good on you for experimenting!

Like the Vook, engaging format, however I think over time I wouldn't enjoy using it on desktop/laptop - definitely put me down for one when Apple release a tablet.

Good idea in concept put it will not take off without some upgrades. Sometimes you are unable to connect to the internet rendering the vook useless, unless you could also download the pdf. I also want to be able to underline and bookmark.

I think the Vook version is a great compliment to the hardcover version and am considering purchasing the Vook version simply for the added videos. Vook looks to be the logical progression of e-books and I look forward to seeing this company grow and expand their lineup of available Vooks.

It seems really cool, but I don't have an iPhone and I would want it portable so it isn't something I'm going to be getting. When you release the audible version though, I'm there.

Gary: Vook is CRUSHING IT big time. When they finally get that you can get all the internet stuff on TV like you have been saying, this concept will rock. your favorite book, amgazine , journal that you can have the actual author speaking about it,kinda like the movies that have the directors version at the end and you see why they film a certain way.

I caught a link you sent out the other day for the Vook version. That is some pretty epic technology in my opinion! Makes ebooks look like a friggin' postcard.

This format - the Vook - is the most brilliant idea ever! I bought it as soon as I heard of it. And that's on top of the hard copy of the book that I had already purchased and read. I bought the Vook for the videos. I love the raw videos you put out, but I really appreciated the polished video stories that came with the Vook.

Keep crushing it!

The Vook is certainly an interesting value add in the process, but probably not a complete replacement for the physical book. The intro video was well done, and the quality was great...although I understand your passion, the f^@*ing language s&!t at the end lowered the IQ of the presentation.

That is the coolest thing. I don't want a Kindle yet, but I can definitely see how this would be the ideal way of "reading" certain kinds of books. I've been resistant to the Kindle just because I don't like how the reading material is only licensed to you, and you can't share it like an old paperback. Oddly enough, in a world that is going more and more towards the social and sharing of media, the new way of reading books is actually LESS social. So what am I saying? I love the multimedia approach. What I'm still looking for is a way to "hand off" a new media book to a friend just like I would a paperback. You know?

Wow, I really like the vook take on books. Now I am pissed I bought Crush It, the old fashioned book back in May. I would rather have had the vook version. For those who really know how to use the technology, vook is the way to go. With 4G wireless on our doorsteps, apps like this will make a difference breaking away from the old way of doing things. All vook has to do is learn to embrace mobile (i.e. iPhone is not mobile, its a locked proprietary format) by making the web version mobile compliant as opposed to an iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Palm, Symbian, etc. platform versions - way too much work.

The Vook platform is awesome. Although I have your physical book I just couldn't help getting the Vook too!

So I come home after a great days work, cook a big juicy aussie steak and sit down with a bottle of 2007 Pinot Noir NS01 VIN DE PAYS D'OC (pretty good for 10 bones) and your Vook...what a way to finish the day.

I watched every video from start to finish. The quality is stunning and the way you weave your story into it is absolutely brilliant. I really loved the Video for CH 9 - The Best Marketing Strategy Ever and CH 13 - Legacy Is Greater Than Currency.

If people can produce Vooks using your standard as a benchmark than I reckon it will be a hit for sure.

I'll by more Vooks and today was the first I'd heard of them.
