Do you really think Howard was trying to dissuade people from stealing his business?

To me he and the rest of the crew sound just like everyone else before they understand what new media is all about.

You are so right, he has come a long long way in the last three years. I quit listening to him when he went to satelite and only tuned in recently when I got serius for free with my new car. He was just as funny as ever and you gotta give it to him, his community will lay it all on the line for him.

WOW, this is from 2008. I wonder what he would say now? I agree with Gary V. Your life is as much a marketing tool as using some of the PR, marketing, prospecting of yester year. Howard realized that he's not as interesting and that scared him.

Still amazed by Gary's ability to cut through all the BS and see the situation for what it really is. Truly insightful.

I can totally understand why you were looking so frustrated while listening to that. A lot of us have grown up being told what we can't do; we could never dream big because the opportunities weren't there. With the internet the opportunities ARE there, it's just a shame people like Howard Stern try to bring us down and hold us back.

Howard Stern's rant is just a microcosm of what is happening throughout old media. Time for some more agile content producers.

Social networking is where it's at. If it weren't for social networking and blogging, I wouldn't have the friends and pen pals and connections that I have now.

I completely respect Stern, for everything he's done, but he just doesn't get it. Anyone would be a fool not to harness the power of social networking.

Who cares about Howard Stern? He's good for interviewing porn stars, but nobody really cares about anything he says.

Stern is his own straw man. Spending even two seconds rebutting him is a waste of time.

And dude, less coffee. Really. It'll not only make your vlog more watchable, but it may save your heart in a couple years.
